At Actea we have a set of principles and values that have grown stronger over the years. Over time, we have also discovered how important they are to our doing a good job and to sustaining people in situations that are often demanding. They bring great benefits in terms of strengthening and developing the business – in respect both of ourselves and of our clients.

Personal commitment

This is the primary driving force in our business. The same principle that we preach to our clients applies of course to ourselves as well, that is, that everyone must pull in the same direction. Otherwise you achieve neither your objective nor satisfaction in the job. In our company each person takes personal responsibility for their own contribution to our common success.

Professionalism

This point may sound obvious; after all we are talking about our work. If you look more closely at it, it means that we always work effectively and methodically. We also give our clients confidence by providing our assignment process with a sound base and ensuring the quality of our results.

Humility

We share our expertise among ourselves and rejoice in the expertise that others have. We like to know what others can bring to our projects and invite colleagues to help in our challenges. We welcome others’ achievements and successes and we make sure we learn something from them. In this way, we take advantage of the knowledge and ideas that are around us.

Thoughtfulness

This quality will never become outmoded. We take care of each other and our surroundings. We find out whether help and support is desired, and offer it. Receiving help is just as valuable as giving it.

Straight talking

This simply means that we are honest with each other, both within the company and to our clients. We give feedback that is positive and constructive to the right person, in the right way, and at the right time. This generates commitment and job satisfaction, as well as nipping many problems in the bud.

Curiosity

Without curiosity, we stand still and allow others to overtake us. For us, it means that we are responsive and willing to expand our areas of expertise. And quite frankly, it also makes work much more fun.
