Challenges we are happy to take on
It’s really difficult to say when our services are not of any benefit. In the menu on the left is a list of examples of situations where we have successfully helped our clients. So that we can achieve the best results and for change to be implemented as painlessly as possible, we take a holistic approach, taking into account ancillary processes. This is precisely what we are experts in – predicting and assessing consequences.
Developing supporting documentation for decisions
Actea’s great strength is to use methods and models in an efficient way to create structured supporting documentation for decision making. The result is that the right amount of work is employed to produce the right amount of supporting documentation for the case in question. This means that neither too much nor too little money is invested in a decision.
Operational development and organisational change/optimisation
If you have bought companies or merged various parts of the organisation, it may be worthwhile to review how you work. So, for instance, are purchases made in the same way and are common resources used for this? By highlighting the working practices we often find factors that can be significantly improved. This can lead to positive changes in both the organisation and the work processes, as well as general improvements in the form of synergies.
Purchase/change of business systems
Changing business systems affects the entire organisation. You therefore need to look carefully at how this changes the organisation and working practices. Then the new system can be used efficiently and unpleasant surprises can be avoided. As an independent consultant, we are not tied to any one supplier. Rather we can cast a critical eye over all of them and recommend the system that suits your company best.
How do you select your optimum supplier? By matching your company’s requirements with the supplier’s/system’s capabilities, we can compare different suppliers at a relatively simple level. Actea also has considerable experience of working on the supply side. This means we can review and evaluate not only factors that are related to the systems’ functionality, but softer factors as well. Examples of these are which consultants are best suited and what requirements you should make of them.
Implementation of complex changes
At Actea we are accustomed to working in highly complex environments and always having an overall perspective of the company’s best interests – not just with regard to the current project. Examples of a complex environment may involve: multiple suppliers, multiple owners, the involvement of multiple organisations, extensive technology, statutory requirements of multiple states, social and cultural differences. We are well-versed in a holistic approach that takes into account synergies as well as side effects.
